1 Peter 2:9 Christian blogs about being chosen by God as His Good and faithful servants. Written by Christian Apparel brand that sells christian hoodies and t shirts

Did you know that God chose you? Stop for a second and really contemplate that. The Creator of the universe, the One who formed the moon and stars, who put the galaxies in motion. The One who formed the mountains, and the animals that climb them. The One who created the deep seas and knows the deepest parts of your heart. He chose you.

This means you didn’t earn a place with Him. You did not work hard to “deserve” His attention. He willfully chose you. Somehow, in His infinite wisdom, He looked upon humanity, saw you and said, “this one is mine. He will be known by my name. She will be known by my name.”

And He says to those who are His: “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”

‭‭John‬ ‭15:16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Beloved, today we exhort you to meditate on this reality and really allow it to find its place deep in your heart. God chose you. And He didn’t just choose you just for fun. He chose you for a purpose. He didn’t choose you because you were useful. But He does want to co-labor with you. He wants to bear fruit through you!

Even though we cannot qualify as His Good and Faithful, He has chosen us for that very thing. To be His Good and Faithful servants, declaring the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light! Knowing Him and making Him known.
